15th Century walnut Tudor coffer chest

French Renaissance Two-Tiered Buffet extensively caved with a moulded serpentine shaped crown. The raised tier has two carved drawers with Fax brass handles. The bold plinth base moulding with Lions’ paws feet support the cabinet. Knights are depicted along with copious foliate motifs on the front of the 2 doors in the lower potion of the cabinet. The Serving display area in the middle of the cabinet is flanked on either by carvings of knights.
