A high power DC-DC voltage converter. Rated 200 watts, this DC to DC converter will run continuously at 5 amps, but can also be operated up to 7 amps for short periods.
The output control knob turns the unit on and off in addition to adjusting the output voltage which has an impressive range up to 36V output. (Note, the supply voltage must be greater than the required output voltage, i.e. 40 volts for a 36 volt output).
This unit has large heat sinks enabling it to operate continuously if required.
The board can form part of a control panel by securing it using the control knob nut, alternatively it may be secured inside or at the back of a unit using the 4 self adhesive standoffs supplied with the converter
Ideal for powering model railway accessories using a higher voltage power supply.
The power connections are made to the voltage converter by the heavy duty screw terminals.
