Our chassis mounted sockets are designed for use with standard 2.1mm DC power plugs. (The type fitted to our standard 12 volt power supplies). The socket is rated at 3 amps which will be suitable for most electronic projects.

They are easy to fit into enclosures or panels bu=y simply drilling an 8mm hole and securing into place with the backnut. The socket is supplied with 300mm long red and black cables fitted with 3.2mm spades. These simply push onto the terminals at the back of the socket.

These sockets are used extensively with our electronic kits.
