The Kit comprises of a 6 channel dimmer unit which is suitable for dimming leds, and 6 x 6 LED lighting strips.
The dimmer is ideal for setting the atmosphere within a model, allowing different areas at different lighting levels.
This could be in a dolls house, or buildings on model railway layout.
The LED strips are also an ideal type of lighting for hiding out of sight in nooks and crannies’ as compared with normal bulbs they give out very little heat.
They can also be used where a long length of lighting is required, ie railway platforms, dolls house shop counters/windows or infill lighting for example. The applications are endless.
The dimmer itself has 6 independent outputs, these are extremely easy to set and adjust.
Once set the 6 dimming levels are retained after power is turned off, and restored again on next power up.
The supplied LED strips are pre-wired with 600mm flying leads.
The LED strips are 50mm x 8mm x 2mm with self adhesive backing.
Each strip has 6 high Brightness SMD LED's with a 120° viewing angle.
The dimmer can also be used with our 300mm LED strip, for the lighting of even larger/longer area's.
It is also suitable for dimming normal types of LEDs
